July 28th, 2024 JCM Letter to Parents

Dear JCM Parents,
Why do you send your children to Sunday school? For babysitting? To be able to attend your own service comfortably? Those reasons certainly help, but one of the biggest reasons for Sunday school is to help the children know more about God. This week, the children will see just how much they’ve learned about Him compared to the people of Athens, who only had an altar for an ‘unknown God’ they never really knew.

Here is what you need to know for tomorrow (3 items)!

1. Bookmark the Bible!
Parents and guardians, we ask you to help get the children to look up and bookmark the bible passage before the JCM Sunday service begins! This Sunday’s lesson will be reading the following verses: Acts 17:22-30.

2. REQUIRED: Care and Permissions Form
Please fill out the form below so that we can better provide for the children and let them enjoy the best of what JCM offers them as they grow in Christ!

3. VBS – Applications closing soon!
For those of you who have not yet registered, please note that we are only accepting applications for preparation purposes UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF AUGUST!

We currently have a donation tree put up for our VBS as well, so for parents wishing to help that way, we would appreciate your help! We also ask for your prayers so that the children will return safe and sound, and with a passion for Jesus burning in their hearts!

JCM 부모님께,
자녀를 주일학교에 보내는 이유는 무엇인가요? 베이비시팅 위해? 예배에 편안하게 참석하기 위해서? 그런 이유도 분명 도움이 되지만 주일학교의 가장 큰 이유 중 하나는 아이들이 하나님에 대해 더 많이 알도록 돕는 것입니다. 이번 주에 아이들은 '알 수 없는 신'을 위한 우상만 가지고 있던 아테네 사람들과 비교하여 그분에 대해 얼마나 많은 것을 배웠는지 알게 될 것입니다.

내일 꼭 알아주셔야 할 내용은 다음과 같습니다 (총 3개)~

1. 주일말씀 미리 찾기
부모님과 보호자 여러분, JCM 주일 예배가 시작되기 전에 아이들이 성경 구절을 찾아 북마크할 수 있도록 많은 도움을 부탁드립니다! 이번 주일의 말씀은 <사도행전 17:22-30> 입니다!

2. 필수: 돌봄 및 허가 양식
아래 양식을 작성하여 어린이들을 더 잘 돌보고 그리스도 안에서 성장하는 동안 JCM이 제공하는 최고의 것을 누릴 수 있도록 해주세요!
