April 13th, 2025 JCM Letter to Parents

Dear JCM Parents,
Paul knew, through his letters to the early churches, that living as a Christian meant being prepared for spiritual battles against evil, not the Roman empire or the people that opposed his ministry. He helped believers prepare for spiritual battle too by using the armor of God as an example! But above all is the reminder that we fight a war already won by Jesus!

Here is what you need to know for this Sunday (2 items)~
1. Bookmark the Bible!
Parents and guardians, we ask you to help the children prepare for JCM by bookmarking the Bible passage we will read this week! For this Sunday’s service, we will read Ephesians 6:10-19!

2. JCM Outdoor Easter Event!
This year, JCM plans to hold its Easter service at Montmarte Park, not too far from the church! This is an opportunity to tie the joy of Christ risen with all the sensations of life that nature has to offer us, and have the children understand that Easter is not just a Sunday Service, but something for us to celebrate with all of our hearts! This event requires extra time and preparations from both JCM and our JCM parents, so we will include a detailed paper handout for the children to take home this Sunday! We pray that this year’s Easter will be one the children will remember!

We are also looking for parent volunteers to help care for the children on this special day, if you are willing and available to help, please let us know!

JCM 부모님께,
바울은 초대 교회에 보낸 편지를 통해 그리스도인으로 산다는 것은 로마 제국이나 자신의 사역을 반대하는 사람들이 아니라 악과의 영적 전투에 대비하는 것을 의미한다는 것을 알고 있었습니다. 그는 하나님의 갑옷을 예로 들어 신자들도 영적 전투를 준비하도록 도왔습니다! 그러나 무엇보다도 우리는 이미 예수님이 승리하신 전쟁을 치르고 있다는 사실을 상기시켜 줍니다!

이번 주일에 알아야 할 내용은 다음과 같습니다 (총2개)~
1. 주일말씀 미리 찾기
부모님과 보호자 여러분, 이번 주에 읽을 성경 구절을 북마크해서 아이들이 JCM을 준비할 수 있도록 도와주세요! 이번 주일 예배에서는 <에베소서 6:10-19> 읽을 것입니다!

2. JCM 야외 부활절 행사!
올해 JCM은 교회에서 멀지 않은 몽마르뜨 공원에서 부활절 예배를 진행할 예정입니다! 이것은 부활하신 그리스도의 기쁨을 자연이 우리에게 제공하는 모든 생명의 감각과 연결시키고, 부활절이 단순한 주일 예배가 아니라 우리가 온 마음을 다해 축하해야 할 날이라는 것을 아이들에게 알려줄 수 있는 기회입니다! 이 행사는 JCM과 JCM 부모님 모두의 시간과 준비가 필요하므로 이번 주일에 아이들이 집에 가져갈 자세한 종이 안내문을 포함할 것입니다! 올해 부활절은 아이들이 기억할 수 있는 부활절이 되기를 기도합니다!
