Dear JCM Parents,
This week, we will learn about Gideon, another judge who was an unlikely candidate to lead the Israelite people. He was weak, he was young, and didn’t seem to have any leadership capabilities - until God called him to lead His people. We are reminded through him that no one is perfect, but when God is working through us, His light shines through the cracks, and shows everyone that it is not us, but God leading and working wonders in our lives!

Events:
JCM Hearts to Help Project (until the end of the Year)
It is important to live out the lessons we learn! Paul advises us to practice being the kind of cheerful giver God loves, so JCM will run a charity drive lasting until the end of the year! The children will decide who will be receiving their charity money, and so practice generosity with others, and to see what it means to give with love through this project!

JCM 학부모님들,
이번 주에는 이스라엘을 이끈 또 다른 사사, 기드온에 대해 배우게 됩니다. 기드온은 연약하고, 젊고, 지도자로서의 능력이 없어 보였지만, 하나님께서 그를 부르셔서 하나님의 백성을 이끌게 하셨습니다. 기드온의 이야기를 통해 우리는 완벽한 사람은 없지만, 하나님께서 우리를 통해 일하실 때 우리의 연약함 속에서도 하나님의 빛이 드러나며, 그것이 우리 자신이 아니라 하나님께서 역사하시고 놀라운 일을 이루신다는 것을 다시 한 번 기억하게 됩니다.

우리가 배운 교훈을 실천하는 것이 중요합니다! 바울이 우리에게 조언한 은혜를 즐겨 내는 자가 되기 위해 (고후 9:7) JCM은 연말까지 자선 모금 활동을 진행합니다! 아이들은 직접 자선금을 받을 사람을 결정하여 다른 사람들과 함께 관대함을 실천하고 이 프로젝트를 통해 사랑으로 베푸는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 알게 될 것입니다!
