Dear JCM Parents,
We hope that you enjoyed the holidays, be it with loved ones, enjoying exciting new places, or just taking a good long breather in the comfort of your home! This week at JCM, we will be exploring the time of Israel right before they had their line of kings – through the story of Samuel, and how he came to be a servant of God!

Here is what you need to know for this week~

This week’s Bible passage: 1 Samuel 3:4–10

Events:
1. Newcomer Interviews – Delay
To join JCM, children are required to undergo an interview process, which was delayed until this week and begins after the service ends. Please make sure:
a. Teachers in front of the S602 Hall entrance are informed of your child’s desire to join.
b. Ensure your child attends the service held before the interview!

2. JCM Hearts to Help Project (until the end of the Year)
It is important to live out the lessons we learn! Paul advises us to practice being the kind of cheerful giver God loves, so JCM will run a charity drive lasting until the end of the year! The children will decide who will be receiving their charity money, and so practice generosity with others, and to see what it means to give with love through this project!

JCM 학부모님들,
이번 연휴는 사랑하는 가족들과 함께 보내셨든, 새로운 곳을 탐험하셨든, 아니면 집에서 편안히 휴식을 취하셨든 즐거운 시간이 되셨기를 바랍니다! 이번 주 JCM에서는 이스라엘이 왕을 세우기 전의 시대 이야기를 다루며, 하나님의 종으로 부름받은 사무엘의 이야기를 함께 배워볼 예정입니다!

이벤트:
1. 뉴커머 인터뷰 – 연기 안내
JCM에 등록하기 위해서는 아동 인터뷰 절차가 필요하며, 지난주에 연기되었던 인터뷰가 이번 주 예배 후부터 진행됩니다. 아래 사항을 꼭 확인해 주세요:
a. 자녀가 JCM에 참여를 희망하는 경우, S602 홀 입구에 있는 교사에게 미리 알려주시기 바랍니다.
b. 인터뷰 전 예배에 반드시 참석할 수 있도록 자녀를 지도해 주세요!


2. JCM Hearts to Help 프로젝트 (연말까지)
우리가 배운 교훈을 실천하는 것이 중요합니다! 바울이 우리에게 조언한 은혜를 즐겨 내는 자가 되기 위해 (고후 9:7) JCM은 연말까지 자선 모금 활동을 진행합니다! 아이들은 직접 자선금을 받을 사람을 결정하여 다른 사람들과 함께 관대함을 실천하고 이 프로젝트를 통해 사랑으로 베푸는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 알게 될 것입니다!
