Dear JCM Parents,
What is the day we celebrate a man in a funny hat, and the story of a really long piece of paper? The answer: The Reformation, on the 31st of October.
To celebrate, JCM will be using this Sunday to help the children learn about five essential points of Christianity that developed from then, which we also call the Five Solas (Latin for Only): Only Scripture, Only Faith, Only Grace, Only Jesus Christ, and Only the Glory to God!
Additionally, JCM will also be celebrating its 24th anniversary with a small snack for all our JCM kids after Sunday service!

It is important to live out the lessons we learn! Paul advises us to practice being the kind of cheerful giver God loves, so JCM will run a charity drive lasting until the end of the year! The children will decide who will be receiving their charity money, and so practice generosity with others, and to see what it means to give with love through this project!

JCM 학부모님들,
우리가 재미있는 모자를 쓴 한 사람과 아주 긴 종이 한 장의 이야기를 기념하는 날은 언제일까요? 정답은 10월 31일 종교개혁 기념일입니다.
이를 기념하여 JCM에서는 이번 주일에 아이들과 함께, 그 역사적인 사건에서 비롯된 기독교의 다섯 가지 핵심 진리를 배울 예정입니다. 이 다섯 가지는 라틴어로 “오직”을 뜻하는 Five Solas라고 부릅니다. 그 내용은 다음과 같습니다:
오직 성경, 오직 믿음, 오직 은혜, 오직 예수 그리스도, 그리고 오직 하나님께 영광!
또한 JCM은 올해로 창립 24주년을 맞이하여, 주일예배 후 모든 JCM 어린이들에게 간단한 간식을 나눠드릴 예정입니다!

우리가 배운 교훈을 실천하는 것이 중요합니다! 바울이 우리에게 조언한 은혜를 즐겨 내는 자가 되기 위해 (고후 9:7) JCM은 연말까지 자선 모금 활동을 진행합니다! 아이들은 직접 자선금을 받을 사람을 결정하여 다른 사람들과 함께 관대함을 실천하고 이 프로젝트를 통해 사랑으로 베푸는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 알게 될 것입니다!
