Dear JCM Parents,
We know that God does not need four walls and a roof to be worshiped and loved. But we know that David still sought to build a place for God - a WORTHIER one - than the Tabernacle of old. Though that wish was not granted, his son, Solomon, got to carry it through. This Sunday, we remind the children that the first Temple was built not just with glory and splendor, but with God’s own reminder that the most important thing of all was to remember that the Temple was meant to be a place where God would dwell with His people.

2025년 1월 18일 JCM 부모님 안내

JCM 학부모님들,
우리는 하나님께서 예배와 사랑을 받으시기 위해 네 벽과 지붕이 꼭 필요하지 않다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 그러나 다윗은 옛 성막보다 더 합당한, 하나님을 위한 거처를 짓고자 간절히 원했습니다. 그 소원은 다윗에게 허락되지 않았지만, 그의 아들 솔로몬을 통해 이루어졌습니다. 이번 주일, 우리는 아이들에게 첫 성전이 단순히 화려함과 웅장함으로 세워진 것이 아니라, 하나님께서 친히 말씀하신 가장 중요한 목적, 곧 성전은 하나님께서 그의 백성과 함께 거하시기 위한 장소라는 사실을 기억하도록 가르치려 합니다.
