As for the lesson this week in JCM: What does it mean to forgive? What does it mean to be faithful? The book of Hosea is known for representing God’s love for an unfaithful nation that turned from God again and again. Though the nation of Israel strayed further and further from God, and fell to the Assyrians not too long after the prophet, it’s important to remember that this is not the end of God’s people, and the book ends with a promise by God, one that will bring about true repentance and forgiveness, and fix the relationship between God and His people, once and for all.

2026년 4월 26일 JCM 부모님 안내

JCM 학부모님들,
최근 교회에서 함께 나눈 기쁨의 자리에 참여하시고 즐거움을 누리셨기를 바랍니다. 우리 아이들 안에서도 그와 같은 꾸준하고 신실한 성장이 이루어지기를 기대합니다.
이번 주 JCM 말씀 주제는 “용서란 무엇인가? 신실하다는 것은 무엇인가?” 입니다. 선지자 호세아는 하나님께서 끊임없이 배반하는 이스라엘을 향한 사랑을 보여주는 것으로 잘 알려져 있습니다. 이스라엘은 계속해서 하나님을 떠나 결국 멸망을 맞이했지만, 이것이 하나님의 백성의 끝은 아닙니다. 호세아에서는 마지막에 하나님께서 참된 회개와 용서를 주시며, 하나님과 그 백성 사이의 관계를 온전히 회복시키실 것이라는 약속으로 마무리됩니다. 아이들이 이번 말씀을 통해 하나님의 사랑과 용서, 그리고 신실함의 의미를 깊이 깨닫고 삶 속에서 실천할 수 있도록 가정에서도 함께 격려해 주시기를 부탁드립니다.
