Dear JCM Parents,
November is upon us, and the year is already almost over! I pray that whether you felt the year crawling slowly or rushing at the speed of light, this year, and all that has happened in your family so far, is one where you grew closer to the Lord! This week in JCM, the children will learn about the calling of the disciples – not by the story of Simon and Andrew, but through the calling of Matthew, and the reminder that Jesus came not for the perfect and the sinless, but for those who knew they needed him in their lives, those who were weak and sick not just in the body, but in spirit as well.

Upcoming Events:
Please note that in the upcoming month of November, we will have the following two events:
New Life Festival / Evangelism Crusade - November 15th : If you or your child has a friend you’d like to invite to visit church on this day, we encourage you to pray for them beforehand, so that they may open their hearts to Jesus!

Bible Feast – November 29th : This year, we have a total of 26 passages for the children to feast on! For those who need more time to practice memorizing the verses, we’ve also provided a bible verse sheet for them to practice with! We wish all the children good luck on the final day!

2026년 11월 1일 JCM 부모님 안내

JCM 학부모님들,
11월이 시작되었고, 어느덧 한 해도 거의 끝을 향해 가고 있습니다! 올 한 해가 천천히 지나간 것처럼 느껴졌든, 눈 깜짝할 사이에 지나간 것처럼 느껴졌든, 여러분의 가정이 주님과 더욱 가까워지는 시간이 되었기를 기도합니다.
이번 주 JCM에서는 제자들의 부르심에 대해 배우게 됩니다. 시몬과 안드레의 이야기 대신, 마태를 부르신 사건을 통해 예수님께서 완전하고 죄 없는 사람들을 위해 오신 것이 아니라, 자신에게 주님이 필요함을 아는 사람들, 육신뿐 아니라 영적으로도 연약하고 병든 사람들을 부르러 오셨음을 함께 나누게 됩니다.

이번 주를 맞이하기 전에 알아두셔야 할 사항입니다~

이번 주 성경 말씀: 마가복음 2장 13-17절

다가오는 행사 일정입니다:
다가오는 11월에 주일학교에서 두 가지 특별한 행사가 있습니다.
새생명축제 – 11월 15일 : 자녀의 친구나 아는 아이를 초대하고 싶으시다면, 미리 그들의 마음이 예수님께 열리도록 함께 기도해 주시길 부탁드립니다.

Bible Feast – 11월 29일 : 올해는 아이들과 함께 나눈 성경 구절이 총 26개입니다. 암송 연습이 더 필요한 친구들을 위해 성경 구절 연습지를 준비하였으니 활용해 주시기 바랍니다. 마지막 날까지 모든 아이들이 좋은 결과를 얻기를 기도합니다.
