Dear JCM Parents,
A taste of the summer heat has hit us this week, and that means all the summer preparations are starting up as well!
This week, the children will be learning about Jonah, but before Nineveh, before the great fish, all the way to the beginning of his story: when Jonah heard the word of the Lord, and ran away. From this action, the children will see how no one else, aside from Jesus, could claim perfect obedience. But they will also see how God takes our failures and uses even those to further his glory; it is important to remember not to fear failure, but to always return to the Lord.

!!NOTICE!!: JCM will be ending service without Bible study this week, so please come early (no later than 11:20 AM) to pick up your children! If you cannot come earlier, please let us know so the children can be cared for until you come!

Upcoming Events:
May 31st - No JCM
SaRang Church will be holding its yearly All-Generational Service, and as such, JCM will not have a separate service that day!

2026년 5월10일 JCM 부모님 안내

JCM 학부모님들,
이번 주는 여름 더위가 시작되면서 아이들과 함께 여름 준비도 시작하게 됐네요. 이번 주일에는 아이들이 요나의 이야기를 배우게 됩니다. 그러나 니느웨나 큰 물고기 이야기 이전, 바로 처음 부분부터 시작합니다. 요나가 하나님의 말씀을 들었을 때, 그는 도망쳤습니다.
아이들은 이 사건을 통해 예수님 외에는 누구도 완전한 순종을 할 수 없음을 배우게 됩니다. 동시에 하나님께서는 우리의 실패조차도 하나님의 영광을 위해 사용하신다는 사실을 알게 될 것입니다. 중요한 것은 실패를 두려워하지 않고, 언제나 주님께 돌아가는 것입니다.

이번 주를 맞이하기 전에 알아두셔야 할 사항입니다~

이번 주 성경 말씀: 요나서 1:1-16
!!주의사항!!: JCM은 이번 주 예배 후 성경 공부 없이 바로 마치게 됩니다. 따라서 자녀들을 오전 11시 20분 이전에 꼭 데리러 와 주시기 바랍니다.

만약 부득이하게 일찍 오실 수 없는 경우, 알려주시면 아이들이 안전하게 돌봄을 받을 수 있도록 하겠습니다.
이번 달 일정입니다:
5월 31일: 사랑의교회 전세대예배가 진행되며, JCM은 별도의 예배를 드리지 않습니다.
