November 17th, 2024 JCM Letter to Parents

Dear JCM Parents,
Preparations for the upcoming Christmas are on the way, just like the Christmas tree already set up in the Church forum! We pray for all of our JCM families so that the children grow up with a strong foundation of faith and trusting God to guide them through their futures! As they start a new unit this Sunday, let them see that trust in God is not an easy thing, but one worth learning about, and seeking it out for themselves!

Here is what you need to know for tomorrow (4 items)!
1. Bookmark the Bible!
Parents and guardians, we ask you to help get the children to look up and bookmark the bible passage before the JCM Sunday service begins! For this Sunday’s service, we ask the children to bookmark Job 1!

2. JCM Service Time Change for 2025
In 2025, JCM will change its service time from 12:10 PM to 10 AM, for the betterment of our JCM families and the English ministries. This change will occur at the beginning of the year (Jan. 5th), though the end of the winter semester for JCM will be at the end of January. For parents whose children are attending both JCM and the Korean Sunday schools, please take note of this change for your 2025 plans!

3. JCM Annual Bible Feast Notice
The final (and bigger) Bible Feast for JCM 2024 will be held a bit early this year, on December 1st, 2024! This will include all of the theme verses the children have memorized throughout the year, as well as the full chapter of this year’s yearly verse, 1 Corinthians 13! We hope to see next month the results of craving the Word of God into the children’s hearts! For those who wish to print out their own copy of the verses, you may find them under the following link!

4. JCM Christmas Talent Show Signups
We are celebrating Thanksgiving this week, but winter is almost upon us, and that means Christmas is coming! And THAT means the JCM Christmas Talen Show! This is the event many children have been waiting for! Starting this week, Christmas Talent Show signups will open, and the show itself will be on December 22nd, 2024! Be it singing, drawing, or pulling off some serious moves on stage, we invite the JCM children wo show just how wonderfully God has created them!

2024년 11월17일 JCM 부모님 안내문

JCM 부모님께,
교회 광장에 이미 설치된 크리스마스 트리처럼 다가오는 크리스마스를 위한 준비가 한창입니다! 아이들이 신앙의 기초를 튼튼히 다지고 미래를 인도하실 하나님을 신뢰하며 성장할 수 있도록 모든 JCM 가족들을 위해 기도합니다! 이번 주일에 새로운 유닛을 시작하면서 아이들이 하나님을 신뢰하는 것이 쉬운 일이 아니지만, 스스로 배우고 찾을 가치가 있는 일이라는 것을 깨닫도록 합니다!

내일 꼭 알아주셔야 할 내용은 다음과 같습니다 (총4개)~
1. 주일말씀 미리 찾기
부모님과 보호자 여러분, JCM 주일 예배가 시작되기 전에 아이들이 성경 구절을 찾아 북마크할 수 있도록 많은 도움을 부탁드립니다! 이번 주일에는 <신명기 6:1-7;20-25> 을 북마크에 추가하도록 해주세요!

2. 2025 JCM 서비스 시간 변경
2025년에는 JCM 가족들과 영어 사역을 위해 예배 시간을 오후 12시 10분에서 오전 10시로 변경할 예정입니다. 이 변경은 연초에 시행될 예정이지만 JCM의 겨울 학기는 1월 말에 끝납니다. 자녀가 JCM과 한국어 주일학교에 모두 다니고 있는 부모님들은 내년 계획을 세울 때 이 변경 사항을 참고하시기 바랍니다!

3. JCM 연례 바이블 페스트 공지
JCM 2024의 마지막 (그리고 더 큰) 바이블 페스트가 올해 조금 일찍, 2024년 12월 1일에 열릴 예정입니다! 여기에는 아이들이 일 년 동안 외운 모든 테마 구절과 올해의 연간 구절인 고린도전서 13장 전체가 포함될 것입니다! 다음 달에 아이들의 마음에 하나님의 말씀을 갈망하는 결과를 볼 수 있기를 기대합니다! 구절을 직접 인쇄하고 싶은 분들은 다음 링크에서 구절을 찾을 수 있습니다!

4. JCM 크리스마스 탤런트 쇼 등록
이번 주에는 추수감사절을 맞이하지만, 곧 겨울이 다가오며 크리스마스가 다가옵니다! 그리고 그것은 JCM에서 크리스마스 탈렌 쇼를 의미합니다! 많은 어린이들이 기다려온 이벤트입니다! 이번 주부터 크리스마스 탤런트 쇼 등록이 시작되며, 쇼 자체는 2024년 12월 22일에 열릴 예정입니다! 노래를 부르든, 그림을 그리든, 무대에서 멋진 동작을 보여주든, 하나님께서 얼마나 놀랍게 JCM 어린이들을 창조하셨는지 볼 수 있도록 여러분을 초대합니다!
