December 1st, 2024 JCM Letter to Parents

Dear JCM Parents,
The first snow has fallen, and winter is here, so MERRY CHRISTMAS!! Yes, it is almost an entire month early! But starting this coming Sunday, we will spend the next few weeks hammering the important Bible lessons related to Christmas, starting off with the Hope God gave when he promised the coming of Jesus! As the children recite their Bible verses during our Bible Feast today, we pray for all of our JCM families this week so that everyone is bundled up in both body and spirit - knowing that God is right there with us through everything!

Here is what you need to know for tomorrow (5 items)!
1. Bookmark the Bible!
Parents and guardians, we ask you to help get the children to look up and bookmark the bible passage before the JCM Sunday service begins! For this Sunday’s service, we ask the children to bookmark Micah 5:1-5!

2. JCM Service Time Change for 2025
In 2025, JCM will change its service time from 12:10 PM to 10 AM, for the betterment of our JCM families and the English ministries. This change will occur at the beginning of the year (Jan. 5th), though the end of the winter semester for JCM will be at the end of January. For parents whose children are attending both JCM and the Korean Sunday schools, please take note of this change for your 2025 plans!

3. JCM Annual Bible Feast Notice
This Sunday is BIBLE FEAST SUNDAY! We hope all of our JCM kids are ready to show they are building up the foundations of their heart and feasting on God’s Word as they grow up!

4. JCM Christmas Talent Show Signups
Christmas Talent Show signups are open, and the show itself will be on December 22nd, 2024! Be it singing, drawing, or pulling off some serious moves on stage, we invite the JCM children wo show just how wonderfully God has created them!

5. JCM 2025 Kids Praise Team Audition Applications open!
We will hold praise team auditions in December. 29th for next year''s praise team! This is open to all future 3-5th graders! For online registration, please fill out the form below!

2024년 12월1일 JCM 부모님 안내문

JCM 부모님께,
첫눈이 내리고 겨울이 왔으니 메리 크리스마스!!!! 네, 거의 한 달이나 일찍 말하고 있습니다! 하지만 이번 주일부터 우리는 하나님께서 예수님의 오심을 약속하셨을 때 주신 소망부터 시작하여 다음 몇 주 동안 크리스마스와 관련된 중요한 성경 교훈을 가르칠 예정입니다! 오늘 바이블 페스트에서 아이들이 성경 구절을 암송할 때, 이번 주에 모든 JCM 가족들이 하나님께서 모든 것을 통해 우리와 함께 하신다는 것을 알고 몸과 마음이 모두 묶일 수 있도록 기도해 주세요!

1. 주일말씀 미리 찾기
부모님과 보호자 여러분, JCM 주일 예배가 시작되기 전에 아이들이 성경 구절을 찾아 북마크할 수 있도록 많은 도움을 부탁드립니다! 이번 주일에는 <미가 5:1-5> 을 북마크에 추가하도록 해주세요!

2. 2025 JCM 서비스 시간 변경
2025년에는 JCM 가족들과 영어 사역을 위해 예배 시간을 오후 12시 10분에서 오전 10시로 변경할 예정입니다. 이 변경은 연초에 시행될 예정이지만 JCM의 겨울 학기는 1월 말에 끝납니다. 자녀가 JCM과 한국어 주일학교에 모두 다니고 있는 부모님들은 내년 계획을 세울 때 이 변경 사항을 참고하시기 바랍니다!

3. JCM 연례 바이블 페스트 공지
이번 주일은 바이블 페스트 주일입니다! 모든 JCM 어린이들이 자라면서 마음의 기초를 다지고 하나님의 말씀으로 잔치를 벌일 준비가 되어 있기를 바랍니다!

4. JCM 크리스마스 탤런트 쇼 등록
크리스마스 탤런트 쇼 등록이 시작되며, 쇼 자체는 2024년 12월 22일에 열릴 예정입니다! 노래를 부르든, 그림을 그리든, 무대에서 멋진 동작을 보여주든, 하나님께서 얼마나 놀랍게 JCM 어린이들을 창조하셨는지 볼 수 있도록 여러분을 초대합니다!
