Dear JCM Parents, August is here! We are praying for all of our JCM families to be well in both body and spirit, and survive the rest of the summer heat this month! Here is what you need to know for this week~

Events:
1. VBS Online Registration ¬– Extension

Please note that we will be extending the application period for one more week before closing, so consider letting your children spend a weekend to find fellowship and joy with their friends in Christ!

2. VBS Donation Tree
Do you have two left feet and but have the heart to help? Not so great with children (of course, your own kids are an exception), but love them anyway? Then JCM could appreciate your help for our VBS through our Donation Tree! It’s with your help we can make sure that every corner of care for the children will be covered!

3.JCM Hearts to Help Project (until the end of the Year)
It is important to live out the lessons we learn! Paul advises us to practice being the kind of cheerful giver God loves, so JCM will run a charity drive lasting until the end of the year! The children will decide who will be receiving their charity money, and so practice generosity with others, and to see what it means to give with love through this project!

4. Newcomer Interviews (Monthly)
To join JCM, children are required to undergo an interview process available on the First Sunday of every month, which begins after the service ends. Please make sure:
a. Teachers in front of the S602 Hall entrance are informed of your child’s desire to join.
b. Ensure your child attends the service held before the interview!

JCM 학부모님들, 8월이 왔습니다! 저희는 모든 JCM 가족들이 몸과 마음 모두 건강하시고, 이번 달 남은 여름 더위를 잘 이겨내시길 기도하고 있습니다! 이번 주에 알아두셔야 할 사항입니다~

신청 기간을 한 주 더 연장할 예정이니, 자녀들이 그리스도 안에서 친구들과 함께 교제와 기쁨을 나누는 주말을 보내도록 고려해 주시기 바랍니다!

2. VBS 기부 나무 몸이 서툴러도, 돕고 싶은 마음이 있나요? 아이들과는 잘 맞지 않지만(물론 자신의 아이들은 예외죠), 그래도 아이들을 사랑하시나요? 그렇다면 JCM은 기부 나무를 통해 VBS를 위해 도움을 주시는 것을 감사히 여기겠습니다! 여러분의 도움이 있다면, 아이들을 위한 보살핌의 모든 부분을 챙길 수 있을 것입니다!

3.JCM Hearts to Help 프로젝트 (연말까지)
우리가 배운 교훈을 실천하는 것이 중요합니다! 바울이 우리에게 조언한 은혜를 즐겨 내는 자가 되기 위해 (고후 9:7) JCM은 연말까지 자선 모금 활동을 진행합니다! 아이들은 직접 자선금을 받을 사람을 결정하여 다른 사람들과 함께 관대함을 실천하고 이 프로젝트를 통해 사랑으로 베푸는 것이 무엇을 의미하는지 알게 될 것입니다!

4. 신입생 인터뷰 (월간)
JCM에 들어오기 위해는 매월 첫째 주일에 진행되는 면접 절차를 거쳐야 하며, 이 절차는 예배가 끝난 후 시작됩니다. 다음 사항을 확인해 주세요:
a. S602홀 입구 앞에 있는 교사에게 자녀의 가입 의사를 알려주세요.
b. 자녀가 인터뷰 전에 있는 예배에 참석하는지 확인하세요!
