Dear JCM Parents,
We pray that you and your family continue to find peace in God through both the chaos and the silence, and present a question for you this week: When does God use you?
The Bible tells us that God doesn’t factor in age when he calls someone, from as people as old as Noah to as young as David. The latter’s life story in particular is one that is visited time and time again, and this week, the children will see the story right where it all began, with Samuel anointing David as King. His story reminds the children that God doesn’t have plans only for grownups, for children and young as them, and little David too!

1. VBS sign-ups open! The registration period is from July 4th to August 3rd, with additional information provided in the forms below.

We will also be sharing with you and the children prayer cards for our VBS. Please keep us in your prayers, so that the VBS will be a success in both God’s eyes and in ours!

2. Jubilee Corner for Lower Grades: Please note that, with the semi-monthly schedule change, children from Kinder to 3rd grade will finally have the chance (since March!) to enjoy the Jubilee Corner next week! Please make sure the children bring their talent cards and encourage them to continue working on the little tasks we give to help them keep up their daily walk with Jesus!

JCM 학부모님들,
여러분과 가정이 혼란 속에서도, 또 고요함 속에서도 하나님 안에서 평안을 계속 누리시기를 기도합니다. 그리고 이번 주에는 여러분께 한 가지 질문을 드리고자 합니다: 하나님께서는 우리를 언제 사용하실까요?
성경은 하나님께서 누군가를 부르실 때 나이나 연령을 따지지 않으신다고 말씀합니다. 노아처럼 나이가 많은 사람부터 다윗처럼 어린 소년까지, 모두 하나님의 부르심을 받았습니다. 특히 다윗의 삶은 여러 번 되새겨지는 이야기인데, 이번 주에는 아이들이 그 시작점을 배우게 될 것입니다. 바로 사무엘이 다윗을 왕으로 기름 부은 장면입니다. 이 이야기는 하나님께서 어른들만을 위한 계획을 가지신 것이 아니라, 아이들처럼 어린 자녀들에게도, 그리고 작은 다윗에게도 놀라운 계획을 가지고 계심을 알려줍니다.

2. 주빌리 코너 (저학년) 안내: 일정 변경으로 인해, 유치부부터 초등 3학년까지의 아이들이 드디어 다음 주에 주빌리 코너를 즐길 수 있게 되었습니다! (지난 3월 이후 처음입니다.) 아이들이 꼭 달란트 카드를 가져올 수 있도록 해주시고, 우리가 주는 작은 과제들을 통해 매일 예수님과 동행하는 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 격려해 주시기 바랍니다.
