Dear JCM Parents,
The days have been getting colder, but we hope that our JCM families have enjoyed the beauty of the turning leaves this fall season! As for what is happening in JCM, here is the question we will be exploring this week: Which is more important, the letter of the law or the heart of it? Children will see the answer when they learn about the Sabbath, the special day of rest for the Jewish people, and what Jesus had to say about it before the Pharisees.

Here is the rest of what you need to know for this week~

This week’s Bible passage: Matthew 12:1-8

Upcoming Events:
We will have the following events in the upcoming weeks:
Jubilee Corner (Lower Grades) - November 8th : From Kinders to 3rd graders, all will be able to take part in one of the last Jubilee Corners for this year! Please make sure they have all of their talent cards, and enjoy their final chance to reap the rewards of their hard work!
New Life Festival / Evangelism Crusade -November 15th : If you or your child has a friend you’d like to invite to visit church on this day, we encourage you to pray for them beforehand, so that they may open their hearts to Jesus!
Christmas Talent Show Signups - November 15th : Please note that from next week, we will be opening signups for the Children’s Christmas Talent Show! We encourage all of our JCM children to share their special gifts on this special day!
Bible Feast - November 29th : This year, we have a total of 26 passages for the children to feast on! For those who need more time to practice memorizing the verses, we’ve also provided a bible verse sheet for them to practice with! We wish all the children good luck on the final day!

If you have any questions, please let us know!! Thank you!!
